Connor, E. (2007) Grammar Focus. Greenwood, Perth. Ready-Ed.
Activities and games for grammar as well as comprehension and literacy skills for ages eight and up. This resource contains a lot of worksheets which I personally prefer to avoid however there are some useful lesson/activity ideas which may be useful such as cross words, bingo and example questions for discussion of parts of speech. There are also some links to the Victorian curriculum at the beginning of the resource.

Dykes, B. (2007). Grammar for everyone: Practical tools for learning and teaching grammar. Australian Council for Educational Research: Camberwell.
This book begins with an overview of grammatical theory and teaching ideas however the main section works through the parts of speech and features practical activities to use in the classroom for each new topic. The activities can be easily manipulated to align with your teaching aims or subject. While there are no explicit links with the Australian/Victorian curriculum, there is a checklist as to what students should understand/be able to do at the end of each topic which can assist in planning and designing lessons and units in line with the relevant curriculum standard.

Waugh, D., Waugh, R., & Warner, C. (2013). Teaching grammar, punctuation and spelling in primary schools. London. Learning Matters/Sage.
An excellent in-depth resource for teaching grammar in primary schools, each chapter/new topic of this book includes learning outcomes, teachers’ standards as well as topic specific learning activities and explicit curriculum links. It is important to note that this book is aligned with the UK national curriculum however it would not be difficult to find sections relevant to the Victorian curriculum. Also has fantastic glossary table and the end of the book that includes grammar terms, their definition, teaching ideas and which chapter within the book you can locate more information.
